Lithium-ion batteries: Nowadays in our modern world it is hard to imagine life without them. They are built into laptops, e-scooters, e-bikes, power tools and even household appliances - whether in private or professional use, lithium-ion batteries are everywhere.

Lithium-ion batteries offer many advantages. They are more powerful and longer lasting than conventional batteries, but they are still coming under increasing criticism because lithium-ion batteries pose an increased risk of fire and explosion. 
This danger results from their very high energy density, so under certain conditions they can spontaneously ignite or become unstable and even explode when heated. A technical defect or battery failure can have serious consequences for people and the environment.

  • safe (passive) storage of new or used lithium-ion batteries

ION-LINE cabinets are available in two widths (47,24 inch, 23,62 inch) depending on the model.

    • Robust construction with triple hinged door, scratch- and impact-resistant surface, easy to clean
    • Cabinet body in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) with wing doors in gentian blue (RAL 5010)
    • Integrated air ducts ready for connection to a technical exhaust system
    • Adjusting aids to compensate for uneven floor
  • Transport:
    • Integrated transport base for internal transportation

    • Doors lockable with cylinder lock (locking system compatible) and locking state indicator (red/green)
