ION-LINE Highlights

  Smoke detector and temperature sensor

  • All ION-LINE models (exception: ION CHARGE LOCKER) are equipped with a smoke detector
  • The ULTRA and PRO models also have at least one temperature sensor (depending on the model) for fire detection and forwarding the alarm to the building management system
• Alarm forwarding as a key component

  All ION-LINE cabinets are equipped ex works with a potentialfree alarm contact for on-site alarm forwarding. The connection of this contact to a permanently occupied control centre (internal or external) has to be preferred as the most reliable way of alarm forwarding. Optional modules can be purchased as an alternative or extension.

  

  Complementary option 1: Relay module

  By choosing this option, you are opting for alarm differentiation instead of a collective alarm.The factory-installed module differentiates between four different warning and alarm levels.

  The relay module is suited for the PRO models of the ION-LINE.

  

  Complementary option 2: Module for remote signalling

  The module offers an alarm forwarding via the mobile phone network (SMS/call) and is therefore especially suitable for companies and facilities without a central building management system. In an emergency, the immediate alerting of one or several defined persons is triggered. The module is easily installed on-site by the customer via plug (also suitable for retrofitting).

  The remote signalling module is suited for all ION-LINE models.

  Extraction unit

  • Extraction unit for technical ventilation and to avoid heat build-up during the charging process (only for PRO Charge models)
  • Already integrated in the head section of ULTRA models

  LED display

  • LED display with visual and audible alarm for a quick indication of emergencies without opening the cabinet doors (only for ULTRA and PRO models)

  

  Locking system

  • The cabinet can be securely locked to protect against unauthorized use
  • The integrated red/green indicator quickly shows the locking status
• 

  Passive storage

  • For the storage of new or used lithium-ion batteries, the ION-LINE PRO STORE or CORE STORE cabinet models are ideally suited
  • Equipped with a smoke detector, at least one temperature sensor (depending on the model) and a potential-free alarm contact as standard, these cabinet models are ideally suited for passive storage

  

  Active storage

  • For the active storage of lithium-ion batteries, the ION-LINE ULTRA, PRO CHARGE and CORE CHARGE cabinet models are equipped with high-quality protective contact sockets
  • Due to the sophisticated safety concept with smoke detector, (depending on model) temperature sensor and fire suppression unit, these ION-LINE cabinet models offer a high level of safety for charging lithium-ion batteries

  Fire suppression device

  • Available fire suppression system, which automatically triggers in the event of a fire inside the cabinet
  • Standard on PRO models, available as an option on ULTRA models

  Shelf

  • Equipped with height-adjustable shelves (max. load 25 kg / 75 kg) as storage levels
  • Perforated design to avoid heat accumulation during loading

  

  Sump pallet

  • Bottom collecting sump is used to catch any leakage which may occur from burning batteries
• 

  Single-hand operation

  • Convenient storage and retrieval - open two cupboard doors at the same time with just one hand
  • Permanent locking of the doors by automatic 2-point locking

  

  Pressure relief opening in the head section

  • serves as a supply air opening and closes in case of fire
  • enables a defined pressure reduction and smoke removal

  • Cabinet can easily and quickly be evacuated in case of an emergency due to an integrated transport base

  Perfect size for any environment

  • Charging lithium-ion batteries safely in cabinets with 90 minutes fire resistance and outlet strips with earthed sockets ready to use
  • The under bench cabinet can be flexibly integrated under worktops due to a height of 78 cm
• The locker system enables active and passive lithium batteries to be stored separately and protected from unauthorized access.

  

  ION CORE CHARGE

  • Equip the ION CORE CHARGE with the "locker system" equipment package for separate active and passive storage of lithium batteries, protected from unauthorized access.

  • Fire-protected lockers prevent the spread of fire throughout the interior of the enclosure by allowing individual compartments to be removed and protect stored batteries from being engulfed by flames
