asecos receives the German Innovation Award 2018 from the German Design Council
asecos is the winner of the German Innovation Award 2018 in the 'business to business’ competition class: In the 'chemical industry' category, the latest asecos safety storage cabinet V-MOVE-90 with innovative vertical drawer technology received the coveted award, which the German Design Council gives out every year. As part of a festive gala in the Museum of Technology in Berlin, this year's honoring of the winners of the German Innovation Award was held.

The jury of independent experts from various industries awarded the Innovation Award for products and solutions that are characterized, above all, by user-centeredness and offer significant added value compared to previous solutions. With the V-MOVE-90, asecos meets the ever-growing demands of users who need to maximize work areas while also needing space saving storage of hazardous materials.
asecos took these impulses from the companies and developed a hazardous materials cabinet in a new dimension: The depth of 86 cm uses the full depth of accessible work areas, for example in laboratories, and thus the previously empty space behind the otherwise only 60 cm deep safety cabinets. The width of only 45 cm saves space for the largest possible contiguous work areas. The V-LINE in accordance with DIN EN 14470-1 meets the highest standards of safety, ergonomics and efficiency when dealing with hazardous substances.
Clear design and highest functionality
Due to the harmonious shape and the variable colour scheme, the safety cabinet can be optimally integrated into laboratory and production areas. The vertical extraction technology powered by an electric motor offers optimum ease of use and maximum flexibility for the user: This means that the contents can be accessed directly from two work spaces, and the automatic door closing mechanism allows heavy containers to be removed with two hands – manual closing is not necessary. The V-LINE has 90 minutes of fire resistance, pinch protection and a battery for a safe shutdown in case of power failure.
asecos V-MOVE-90 on the shortlist of the ACHEMA Innovation Award 2018
As part of a festive award ceremony at Achema 2018 in Frankfurt, the world's largest trade fair for the process industry, asecos received the shortlist certificate of the ACHEMA Innovation Award for the V-MOVE-90 safety storage cabinet.
The specialist media brands PROCESS, PROCESS Worldwide, PharmaTEC and LABORPRAXIS awarded the coveted certificates and prizes to ACHEMA's most innovative products in eight categories. The asecos V-LINE was nominated in the 'laboratory / analytical technique' category. A short summary of the award event can be seen in the Video of the Prize Giving at ACHEMA 2018.
